There are plenty of attractions to be found in Marinette County and more specifically the Dunbar area. Besides the hundreds of miles of off road ATV trails and Snowmobile enthusiasts, there are also many other exciting activities nearby. Miles of cross country skiing can be found in the winter. During the summers, Cycling and Mountain Biking are popular pastimes, or you could go whitewater rafting on the Peshtigo River or enjoy a milder rafting ride down the Menominee River.

There is also a vast number of activities for the whole family to enjoy in the local area. Golfing, hiking, trout fishing, horseback riding, bison farm tours all can be found just a short drive from Richards' Motel.

Marinette County is renown for its waterfalls and there are many local pristine and scenic picnicking and camping spots around these local falls that be found just minutes from our establishment. These include; Carney Rapids, Horseshoe Falls, Twelve Foot Falls and Eighteen Foot Falls. There are also a number of parks in the area that boast more waterfalls and hiking trails, or you could spend the day visiting the local shops or one of six local Museums in the County.
